I am kind of obsessing over four poster/canopy beds at the moment.No. Not those.
Really nice, clean & modern canopy beds.
Not the kind I obsessed over as a 7 year old. Back then I wanted a frou frou one so bad--ruffles, pink, lace, the works!
I'm hoping to find more actual room designs with them. I think if done right, having one now could be modern as well as romantic.

That is the beauty of pencil post beds (the wooden canopy bed that has 8 sided tapered posts)... it is versatile, well suited for both traditional and modern decor. With the right bedding and accessories, you can make a canopy bed tell any story and keep some secrets, too.
