peaches

Before leaving NC, I had all intentions of picking up the largest basket of peaches from the best place in my hometown, but we were busy and I forgot and had to buy a smaller bag in the next state down. These peaches were okay (and are really long gone), but not comparable to the ones from NC.

Peach season comes and goes so quickly that I am finding myself unable to find a decent one here and they'll all be out of reach in a week when we leave for Switzerland. So sad!

I usually succeed in eating my weight in peaches during the summer. Alas, not this year : (
