This image is sort of a dream I have right now, floating around inside my head... to be surrounded by the ones I love when giving birth, in a natural setting with my husband playing an active role. Re-birth of oneself has always been a topic I've been intrigued by and even more so now that I have been really interested in the actual physical act of birth . A quote from the book likens birth to "a soul giving birth to a soul". I like that.
