walnut-praline pumpkin pie

I just spent the morning making my first ever pumpkin pie (or pie for that matter!) from scratch. Everything, right down to the pumpkin puree was made by moi. I hope its going to be yummy. Homemade puree is so much darker than the one from the can. Who would've thought? Oh. And the title is a bit misleading, I used walnuts & chestnuts for mine.
