let's lighten things up a bit...

Its really an ideal location here at my sister's for two roaming toddlers. We're far back off the road but cars are often buzzing by beyond the front pastures and little G is all to happy to point each and every one out to me. There's a huge tree in the front yard that she also likes to watch when its breezy and she & Oliver can roam everywhere without danger for the most part.

She has become obsessed with the horses in the paddock and also River the dog, whom she knows from my parents' place in NC. As two non-animal lovers, we've really been handed a karma curve ball--her first real word besides mama is "dog". Oh, no! She snaps that pointer finger out and proclaims, "Dog" every time River's in the vicinity. She's probably going to be a crazy pet lover & I'll have to fake it!
